Fusing his unique blend of acid, dub, punk, techno & psychedelia with a revolutionary socialist outlook, Westernsynthetics (aka Rhyece O’Neill) uses a vast pallet of sounds, instrumentation & imagery in the construction of his music. Together with Flippo (Dave Phillips) & Kristy Brown he has has developed the South-Pacific label Sub Continental Dub.

A regular performer at Sydney's Void and Melbourne’s Bass High Dubstep nights he has supported heavyweights Distance, Scuba, Caspa, Skream, Benga, Bassnectar, Cotti, Harmonic 313, Gravious, Tes La Rok, Kito, Spherix, Emalkay, Deadbeat and others. His live show encompasses on the fly cut ups with fx & synths fused with his bass heavy productions. Westernsynthetics has remixed for the Herd, Armen Firman & Deepchild.
